People don’t just pose they reveal. In that sliver of stillness between breath and shutter , they show you everything they didn’t mean to. Behind the lens, you learn the language of eyelids, how joy folds into laugh lines, how grief hides in the tightness of a jaw. Everyone thinks I capture them as they are. But what I really hold is the ghost of who they were in that one, unrepeatable second. And sometimes when the light is just right they become more than even they could recognise.
